Storyboarding: Little Big Secrets

Storyboarding is a complex intellectual and creative activity. Those who think it is a cake walk are perhaps ignorant about everything that you need to know and understand in order to develop an effective storyboard for online learning. This includes but is not limited to understanding the content that needs to be developed into online learning, principles that guide the following: Learning, Instructional Design, Instructional Writing, Question Design, Visualization and Multimedia. In addition, IDs must be familiar with the storyboarding format, and follow project standards and style guides. In short storyboarding is an act of Expert Juggling! In this video, I share some best practices for storyboarding.
